About
About City Challenge Race
City Challenge Race is an urban obstacle race that combines running and functional fitness challenges throughout a professionally designed course. Since 2013, the event has welcomed participants of all fitness levels, from first-time obstacle racers to experienced athletes looking for a unique challenge.
The course is approximately 3 miles in length and features 20+ obstacles designed to test a variety of physical skills, including strength, endurance, balance, agility, coordination, and problem-solving. Obstacles may include wall climbs, monkey bars, cargo nets, rope climbs, carries, crawls, and other fitness-based challenges.
Unlike traditional obstacle races that take place on trails or in muddy environments, City Challenge utilizes an urban setting, creating a race experience that combines city landmarks, parks, and public spaces with purpose-built obstacles.
